New equipment bought for JSC “Tatavtodor”

The workers of central laboratory of JSC “Tatavtodor” were the first to start using asphaltic mix compaction equipment ÑÏ-20 and rut testing machine ÊÍÊ-20.

This equipment is used to choose optimal proportions for asphalt-concrete mixes and allows to test them for rutting due to plastic deformation.

Sector compactor ÑÏ-20 allows to simulate the modes of compaction for smooth drum rollers, produce samples of asphalt-concrete mixes with densities and water saturations criteria close to real. Moreover, these samples can be tested for other mechanical and physical properties, for example, bending strength.

The rut testing machine ÊÍÊ-20 allows to test laboratory and real samples of asphalt-concrete for plastic deformation aptitude. By using this equipment, workers of the laboratory determine how asphalt-concrete yeld strength depends on its composition and quality of components used.
